Libby is here for her monthly Adjustment. She is a hair stylist and has pain intermittently in the neck, back and lower back. On this video I demonstrate a general adjustment of the spine. During her visits, this process may change. It depends on how she is doing overall. She may have obvious pain symptoms that require a more detailed evaluation or we just look at her overall alignment of the spine and leg length to determine what spinal vertebra/bones/joints need to be moved, manipulated and/or have motion restored to them. We generally use massage or other soft tissue techniques to work out problem areas before we proceed with the adjustment but for this video we only show the general adjustment. There are many ways to access the patient an any different techniques to Chiropractic care. These may vary based on the patients age, size and condition.

Libby is here for continued care. She is a hair stylist that has intermittent pain and overuse issues related to holding up her arms for hrs at a time. We are working on her left shoulder, pec muscle, forearm and wrist. (left) She is improving although with continued work she may experience continued symptoms in the left wrist. An MRI of the shoulder may be needed if stiffness continues.

Jessica is here in the office for an ankle sprain strain injury from cheer. She is a high level cheerleader. She has an ankle sp/st injury from cheer. We did a quick video at the end of her evaluation today. She went for Xray later that day. She has recovered and doing well.

Jessica is here for a monthly work over (adjustment). She is a high end/elite cheer leader and highly competitive. This competitive sport brings on its own issues with overuse . If she is injury free we treat her one time a month at the neck, mid back and lower back. This video shows one way we do general adjustments to the spine. More detailed adjustments can be done to the spine along with adjustments to the extremity joints. Regular maintenance care can really increase performance and reduce the possibility of injury. I/we generally do exercises or massage (myofascial work) before the adjustment. Each case is different and your particular treatment may vary.
